Terms and Conditions of Use

The website (*) (hereinafter, the “Site”) is operated by Mangino Ibarrola Abogados, S.C. (hereinafter, “MIA”), a civil partnership duly incorporated and existing under the laws of the United Mexican States (“Mexico”).

These Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter, “T&C”) govern the use of the Site pursuant to the provisions set forth below. These T&C apply regardless of the IP address or device used to access the Site, which may include, without limitation, any personal computer, mobile device, or any other means of access.

For the purposes of this document, “User” shall mean any individual who accesses, uses, consults, explores, and/or navigates the Site by any of the means contemplated herein, except as otherwise provided in these T&C.

The T&C constitute a valid and binding agreement between the User and MIA.

1. Purpose

The Site has been created by MIA for the following purposes:

  • To inform the User about MIA’s services, professional background, and history, and to provide access to MIA’s professional team.

  • To enable Users who wish to receive further attention or engage MIA’s services to contact the Firm.

  • To provide the means of contact through which MIA may address inquiries or comments arising from the use of the Site.

  • To make available information regarding events, publications, and news related to specialized legal matters.

  • To allow Users interested in applying as candidates to join MIA’s professional team to contact the Firm.

The information provided on the Site is offered as a public and free service by MIA and does not require prior registration.

2. Consent

In line with best practices for the safe and appropriate use of the Internet, these T&C provide a clear, concise, and updated framework.

The User understands and agrees that accessing, consulting, and/or navigating the Site constitutes knowledge, acceptance, and binding agreement to the T&C.

3. Content

All content published on the Site is subject to intellectual property rights. Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, communication, commercialization, or misuse, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited. The rights holder reserves the right to pursue any necessary legal action to protect and defend its intellectual property.

The User acknowledges that all content on the Site is the property of the corresponding rights holders, and no license, transfer, or authorization is granted to the User. This includes, without limitation, the images of individuals appearing on the Site. Access to the Site does not authorize the User to use such intellectual property in any manner likely to cause public confusion and/or constitute unfair competition.

The use, dissemination, or display of any individual’s image appearing on the Site is strictly prohibited. Any opinion, criticism, idea, or action that results in harm—whether moral, economic, or otherwise—arising from the misuse of such images shall be the sole responsibility of the User.

4. Cookies

The Site uses cookies for its operation. Details are provided in MIA’s Privacy Notice, available at (*).

5. User Obligations

The User agrees to:

  • Review and comply with these T&C.

  • Respect all intellectual property rights associated with the Site’s content.

  • Refrain from infringing the rights to privacy, integrity, or image of any individuals appearing on the Site.

  • Report to MIA any errors, failures, or issues with the Site.

  • Refrain from engaging in acts that could compromise the security of the Site.

  • Refrain from reverse engineering, data mining, or creating databases incorporating Site content without MIA’s express authorization.

  • Refrain from impersonating MIA or engaging in fraudulent conduct using Site content.

  • Refrain from using MIA’s contact information to send unsolicited communications, market services, or engage in unlawful activities.

  • Refrain from transmitting illegal content, harmful links, or materials that may affect the integrity of others.

  • Refrain from engaging in any conduct contrary to Internet best practices or applicable law.

Failure to comply with any of these obligations entitles MIA to terminate this agreement and pursue applicable legal actions.

The User is solely responsible for any damages, violations, or regulatory breaches arising from noncompliance with the T&C, and MIA disclaims all liability toward third parties in such cases.

6. Personal Data

Any personal data obtained through the Site, by email (contacto@manginoibarrola.com), or by telephone (+52 55 1661 5303, Mexico City) shall be processed in accordance with MIA’s Privacy Notice, available at (*).

The User is fully responsible for ensuring the legality of any personal data submitted, and represents that he/she is the lawful owner of such data or otherwise legitimately entitled to disclose it.

7. Access Restrictions

The Site is intended for adult users only. Any use, consultation, or navigation by a minor shall not grant such person the status of “User.” Parents, guardians, and/or legal representatives shall be responsible for any acts performed on the Site by minors under their care.

8. Claims Procedure

Users may submit claims or reports regarding breaches of these T&C through the contact section of the Site at (*), with the subject line: “Subject: MIA Terms and Conditions.”

MIA shall have fifteen (15) business days to respond to such claims, either by outlining the applicable procedure, informing the User of its status, or rejecting the claim with corresponding justification.

MIA reserves the right to dismiss claims that are not duly communicated, substantiated, or supported by sufficient contact information or proof of identity.

9. Severability

If any provision of these T&C is deemed unenforceable, null, or invalid under applicable law, it shall be replaced with a valid provision that best achieves the intent of the original. The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

10. Term

These T&C shall remain in effect indefinitely while the Site is active. MIA reserves the right to amend or update the T&C at any time. Such amendments shall be published on the Site for Users’ review and continued use. No modifications shall apply retroactively to actions already completed.

11. Interpretation

These T&C shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Mexico, relevant international treaties, and accepted Internet best practices.

12. Jurisdiction

Any disputes or controversies arising from the interpretation or application of these T&C shall be submitted to the laws of Mexico and the competent local or federal courts located in Mexico City, Mexico. Users expressly waive any other jurisdiction that may otherwise apply by reason of their current or future domicile or for any other reason.
