Jorge Aguilar is partner in MIA’s Regulatory and Government Affairs practice, where he primarily focuses on leading engagement strategies between the private and public sectors, as well as supporting and designing regulatory processes for companies and industries operating in highly regulated environments.

Through his deep understanding of the political and regulatory landscape and the development of strategic intelligence, he has contributed to the design and implementation of strategies that help anticipate risks and identify opportunities, enabling business associations, trade chambers, and companies to make informed strategic decisions.

Prior to joining MIA, Jorge Aguilar led the government affairs practice of a U.S.-based law firm with offices in Mexico and Washington, D.C. He also served as a national delegate for a major political party and as a public affairs advisor to various business councils.
