Ana María Pérez de la Riva Montemayor  

Ana María Pérez de la Riva is an associate in MIA’s Corporate Law practice, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, financing projects, and transactions before the Mexican Stock Exchange. She is also a member of MIA’s Nearshoring and New Technologies working groups.

Before joining MIA, Ana practiced at several U.S. law firms, specializing in Banking & Finance and Capital Markets. She represented international banks, investment funds, fintech companies, and others in transactions exceeding MXN 3 billion.

 

Ana has extensive experience in domestic and cross-border financing projects in the energy, natural resources, and infrastructure sectors, as well as in the structuring of warehouse and whole loan financings aimed at maximizing financial efficiency and mitigating client risk. She also has knowledge of various U.S. legal frameworks, including New York law.
